Helping You Move with Confidence, Independence, and Purpose

Hello, I’m Vic Horsburgh, a Chartered Physiotherapist with over 25 years of experience helping people move better and feel stronger. I graduated from Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, in 1998 with a BSc in Physiotherapy and have worked within the NHS ever since. Alongside my NHS role, I’ve supported athletes through my work with The Scottish Rugby Union’s Borders Development Youth Teams, local sports clubs, and in my own private musculoskeletal (MSK) clinic.

Over the years, my focus has increasingly been on community-based rehabilitation, supporting people with a wide range of conditions including Parkinson’s Disease, Stroke, Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP), Multiple System Atrophy (MSA), vestibular issues, falls and fall prevention, and orthopaedic rehabilitation. This has shaped a specialist approach centred on helping individuals maintain mobility, independence, and confidence in their daily lives.

I have a strong belief in the benefits of home-based physiotherapy, where treatment takes place in familiar surroundings and is tailored to real-life needs. This approach consistently delivers positive outcomes, helping people progress more effectively and comfortably. I provide a wide range of treatments built around each person’s goals and work closely with local services and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, effective care.

My practice is founded on personalised, compassionate physiotherapy—delivered with empathy, understanding, and a genuine commitment to your wellbeing. I’m passionate about helping people, particularly older adults and those living with neurological conditions, to achieve their goals, regain confidence, and enhance their quality of life.
